We’re Max Michaud, Pat Jacob and Fred Jacob. Proud Acadians, born and raised right here in the Maritimes. In August 2024, we became the new owners of Gagnon Beach Camping, and we’re so excited to continue the story of this special place.

For over 40 years, Gagnon Beach has been more than just a campground. It’s where generations of families have gathered, reconnected, and made memories that span decades. For many, it’s their summer home; a place that feels like a cottage by the sea, without the pressure or upkeep of ownership. It’s a space where community comes first, where kids grow up barefoot on the beach, and where lifelong friendships are formed around campfires and ocean sunsets.

We’re incredibly proud to be part of this legacy. Our goal isn’t to change what makes Gagnon Beach special, but to care for it, nurture it, and help it grow. We want to contribute to the beauty and spirit that already lives here, and make sure it continues to thrive for generations to come.

Located 19km (12 miles) east of Shediac, off Hwy 133, at the border of Cap Pele & Grand Barachois, Gagnon Beach offers breathtaking sunsets, sandbars for miles,  with an animal friendly area. Gagnon Beach is your beach-side portal to discovering the maritime provinces of Canada. With seemingly endless miles of clean, unobstructed sandy beaches, this area also carries a reputation for having some of the “warmest waters north of Virginia.”

Along with the miles of beach access, Gagnon Beach provides:

• Playground area (equipped with a bouncy pillow)
• Basketball court
• Recreation hall with pool table, ping-pong table and other indoor game access
• An all new family-friendly inground pool
• A large field for soccer, tossing around a football, baseball
